It is a fairly inexpensive and reliable means of transportation, especially if you don’t know your way around the city. A transit hum called KL Sentral is the commuter train system and the monorail. KL Monorail (tel: (03) 2273 1888; e-mail: info@monorail.com.my; website: www.monorail.com.my) There are busses available for travel also. Cityliner (tel: (03) 7982 6904) and Intrakota (tel: (03) 7727 2727). The train system can be contacted at Keretapi Tanah Melayu – KTM (tel: (03) 2267 1200; e-mail: callcenter@ktmb.com.my; website: www.ktmb.com.my). The KTM offers two day passes, the Kembara Ticket, which is good for unlimited travel. A great idea to see the city. Limousine Service Counter (Tel: (03) 8776 6753 or (03) 8787 4451), through Pelican Tours and Travel (tel: (03) 2096 1960) for Limousine service, too.

You can also rent a car in the area and you have to be 23 years of age. Here are some of the Car Rental companies in the city. Avis (tel: (03) 8787 4087/4088 or 9222 2558; website: www.avis.com.my) and Hertz (tel: (03) 8787 4572, or 2148 6433; website: www.hertz.com.my). This is a great way to see Kuala Lumpur, but make sure you have a good set of maps with you.

You will find with all the options available getting around Kuala Lumpur, will be a pretty simple feat. Remember you can also take one of the tours and especially recommended is one with a guide. They can answer any questions that you have about the place and they take you around so you can relax. That is one of the most enjoyable ways to see the city.
